As the game’s wild symbol the witch doctor serves as a substitute for all other symbols with the exceptions of the adventurers (which represent the bonus symbol) and the treasure chest. The reason for this is that the adventurers trigger the game’s bonus round and the treasure chest acts as the scatter symbol.

When players get at least three of the treasure chest scatter symbol on the reels within one spin, the free spins round is activated. During this round players click on treasure chests to determine not only how many free spins they win but what their multiplier is worth. The bonus game is activated when at least three of the adventurer symbols appear on the reels within a single spin.
