The game’s introduction features Fritz and Dr. Frankenstein digging up a casket in a graveyard. Their goal is to obtain the casket so that they can head to the burning mill to start creating Frankenstein.

The wild symbols used in the game are very different than those used in other video slots. Guaranteed fire wilds and lightning wilds are exclusive to the game. The lightning wild symbols will never appear anywhere on the game screen other than on the second, third and fourth reels. As linked wilds the lightning wild scatters all over the game screen. When the symbols expand to cover all the reels they can take any two symbols (other than the scatter symbol) and turn them into wild symbols, increasing a player’s chances of winning money. The fire symbol also serves as a wild symbol in the game. It shows up on the second, third and fourth reels, replacing the lightning symbol. This symbol can also turn other symbols into wilds.

The scatter symbol in the game is the burning windmill. When at least three of them pop up on the game screen at once players are awarded with 10 spins for free. When these free spins are activated they often come with a multiplier that awards people with up to five times the amount they would have won otherwise. The Frankenstein scatter symbol can get players as much as five more spins for free.
